The data is recorded in the EDP system and written down in test reports. Kanal-Krug is a member of the RAL Quality Association for Property Drainage. Kanal-Krug GmbH & Co. KG has been awarded the quality mark G, RAL 961 by the Gütegemeinschaft Güteschutz Kanalbau for cleaning, TV inspection and leak testing for building and property drainage pipes up to a nominal diameter of DN 250.
Leak testing of house connection pipes
This inspection is usually prescribed by the cities and municipalities for new buildings and serves as proof that the property drainage system has been constructed professionally and complies with the relevant standards, e.g. DIN 1986 or EN 1610, - EN 752 or 12056, etc.
The old pipes are the reason why wastewater can seep into the groundwater, causing damage and health problems in the use and production of drinking water.
Experience in recent years has shown that a large proportion of these old pipes are leaking. The leaking untreated wastewater can contaminate the groundwater.
